Buffalo Base

Guesthouse in Uganda – Website

Buffalo Base is a guesthouse near Kidepo Valley National Park in the Karamoja region of North-Eastern Uganda. I visited the region whilst travelling around Uganda in 2017. After many years of conflict the country is opening up to tourists and visitors and the National Parks are slowly being replenished after many of the animals were slaughtered for food and trade. The guesthouse hopes to help the local community by introducing visitors to their culture whilst providing affordable accommodation near one of Uganda’s most remote and wildest parks.
